The mums are taught skills that can assist them in living independently in the community, such as budgeting, maintaining a stable tenancy, and providing a safe and healthy environment for their child.
Since its establishment in June 2014, Small Steps has provided assistance to over 40 mums, who many have moved on to independent living, whilst successfully completing studies or employment.

Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
This week I have Adam Hooper talking to me - a sperm donor,
In 2015 after investing the standard donor processes in Australia he decided he didn't want to expose his 2 existing children to incest or for his sperm to go to someone who wasn't appropriate and created Sperm Donation Australia the first of his Sperm Donation World communities
Currently in Australia more and more people are looking to his community or similar as a way to find a donor and conceive their children over and above the more conventional clinic method.

Today I have with me a passionate fun-loving lady, who does her utmost to help the parents and boys of my local football club perform at their very best by offering home cooked, natural, nutritious, and nourishing food in the club’s canteen.
Little do her customers know she is a single mum of a wonderful 12-year-old boy working as a Librarian at a local primary school in the week and running the cafe business at weekends
In her younger years she was in the Army Reserve driving trucks and learning how to shoot things and is currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Medicine and is passionate about offering our kids nutritious and healthy options. steering them away from the 'fried chips and processed food' and offering healthier, homemade (but still fun and delicious) choices.
She has been doing the single mum thing for close to 7 years now.
It’s a real pleasure to see her friendly, positive self every Saturday.
